Lynn Petrazzuolo is the President and CEO of Avanti Corporation, a contracting firm in Alexandria, VA that provides professional environmental science and engineering support to federal clients. Ms. Petrazzuolo and her staff have established Avanti as the go-to small business for the New Chemicals Program and Clean Water Act technical support at the Environmental Protection Agency.

Ms. Petrazzuolo started her career as an environmental scientist working to develop discharge regulations for the offshore oil and gas industry. She specializes in water quality impact assessments, cost-benefit analyses, Coastal Zone Management Act and Endangered Species Act consultations, and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia
and the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program. Ms. Petrazzuolo oversees Avanti’s strategic planning, marketing, and operations.

Since taking over as the CEO in 2004, Ms. Petrazzuolo has steadily grown the company to its current position as a prime
contract holder in three major federal agencies. Avanti successfully graduated from the 8(a) program in
2014 and currently has 20 staff and over $2 million in annual revenue
